JACKSON I MODEL POTRAITS I FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
I met Jackson through the Baton Rouge grapevine and ended up getting to know him more when he was hired to model for a commercial shoot I was doing. We decided to get together a while back so I could experiment with some fun lighting techniques and he’s such a PRO! Below are some of my favorite shots from our time together in the studio.
GREG | BRANDING PORTRAITS
Greg reached out to me a while back about doing a series of portraits that better represented his personality and creativity. It was so refreshing to work with a fellow artist who was open to experimenting with different poses, outfits, and editing styles.
MISS GREATER BATON ROUGE PAGEANT QUEENS 2024 | PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
I am honored to have been able to photograph the queen of the inaugural Miss Greater Baton Rouge USA Pageant, Ella Cantrell and Miss Greater Baton Rouge Teen USA, Heaven Breaux!
MORGAN TANNER ART | BRANDING PORTRAITS
If you don’t know about local Baton Rouge artist Morgan Tanner, you are missing out! Her paintings are colorful, ethereal, and dreamy and she’s insanely talented. When she asked if I could photograph some branding portraits to update her website and social media pages, I jumped at the chance!
LUCY | MODEL PORTRAITS | FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
Here are some fun studio shots from a collab shoot with @lucypostspics!
BR GENERAL | HEART SURVIVORS CAMPAIGN | COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Last fall I was approached by Baton Rouge General to photograph some black and white portraits of local survivors for Heart Health month. As much as I love (and am known for) color photography, I really appreciate the simplicity and timelessness of black and white photography- especially portraiture.
SPOOKY SZN! | MEGHAN & ALICE | HALLOWEEN PORTRAITS
My favorites from Meghan and Alice’s 2020 and 2021 Halloween portraits. Enjoy!
FRIDAY THE 13TH | BLACK AND WHITE RIVER PORTRAITS
Some spooky glamour shots on Friday the 13th in the Amite river in Denham Springs, Louisiana!
5 PLACES TO TAKE PHOTOS IN BATON ROUGE
Baton Rouge may not be a huge city, and just because there are a million photographers in town doesn’t mean that you have to reinvent the creative wheel with some crazy, out of this world location. To be completely blunt, it’s all been done before anyways. Here are 5 of my favorite places to shoot that consistently deliver great photos to clients!
MOLLY TAYLOR MUSIC | PROMO SHOOT
A couple of weeks ago I got to work with the BADDEST babe, Molly Taylor. She's a singer/songwriter in the Baton Rouge area (who also makes really amazing jewelry out of wood!!!) that has the coolest style, and when she approached me with her ideas for a promo shoot it was obvious we were on the same page visually, and in life in general.
PHOTO COLLAB WITH ERIC GARCIA
My good friend and photographer Eric Garcia is about to launch a new website, so we thought it would be a perfect time for us to do another fun collab shoot! As photographers, it's hard to get good shots of ourselves so it's kind of nice to be able to get good shots of each other (that aren't selfies!)
ERIC | PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
ERIC FREAKING GARCIA. I love every photo of Eric because I love Eric. He is so photogenic and one of the most genuine people I've ever met, which makes photographing him super easy. He's also a talented photographer, and we had a great time collaborating and taking photos of each other in downtown Baton Rouge a few weeks ago.
CHRISTIAN | SKATEBOARDING
It was super fun for me to be with my best friend hanging outside while also photographing something just for the heck of it, which I don't do a lot of these days. Also, I realized that skateboard photography is not as easy as it looks.. so this was also a healthy Saturday afternoon challenge.
PAIGE | PAINTER, LSU SENIOR | PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
I love the opportunity to photograph other artists. Especially when this specific artist happens to be my roommate, Zeta Tau Alpha sister, and one of my closest friends. Paige Montana Gresell is an unbelievably talented painter! She's also super cool. I was so excited to have a change of pace with her Senior Portraits by shooting them in her painting studio on LSU's campus.
